In honor of Latina Pay Equity Day on Thursday, October 8th, join the L.A. Civil Rights Department and the Los Angeles City Commission on the Status of Women in the Pathways to Equitable City Careers, a virtual event designed to help you learn about paths to civic and professional opportunities with the City of Los Angeles. Although this webinar recognizes Latina Pay Equity Day, it is open to everyone, with a special focus on students, youth, and mid-career job seekers interested in stable, living-wage careers in public service. Through personal stories and practical guidance, speakers will share how internships, City employment, and service on City commissions can open doors to employment opportunities and greater involvement in local government.
