Join Array this month for their Earth Day celebration, Landings: Sowers on Screen, a day of film and TV reflecting on Black, Brown and Indigenous legacies of nurture, ownership and stewardship of the land!

12:00PM | QUEEN SUGAR (2016-2022)
Groundbreaking, all women-directed TV series about siblings in Louisiana uniting to save their family’s sugar cane farm, featuring a handpicked episode from series creator Ava DuVernay. 
1:30PM | EARTH SEED (2024) 
A journey from Southern to Northern California led by People's Kitchen Collective, inspired by Octavia Butler’s visionary writing, explores radical hospitality as a path toward collective survival and future-building.
4:00PM | SEEDS (2025)
Filmmaker Brittany Shyne's documentary portrait of centennial farmers in the geographical south meditates on the decline of generational Black farmers and the significance of owning land.
