FIRE UPDATE - THURSDAY, 1/9

NOTE: Please share this email with your neighbors, friends, and community groups. We don't have everyone's email, so your help can make a difference in keeping people safe.

Dear Neighbor,

We want to provide you with the latest updates we have about the ongoing fires and Public Safety Emergency.

Last night, first responders worked to contain the Sunset Fire, and the evacuation order for the area has been lifted. We’re still dealing with very dangerous conditions, so please stay inside if possible, stay vigilant, and stay informed. Below you can find more information about closures, power outage updates, safety resources, and how you can help.

The community solidarity and eagerness to help our neighbors during this unprecedented challenge has truly been heartwarming and fills me with hope for our collective recovery. Right now, the most effective things you can do is check on your neighbors, stay informed, and donate to CalFund’s Recovery Fund at calfund.org

In Solidarity,
Hugo
